About the Role

Are you passionate about data engineering and software development? We’re looking for a Software Engineer – Data to join a leading financial services company. In this role, you will develop and optimize data pipelines, ETL processes, and Python-based tooling to support investment operations, making them more scalable, efficient, and robust.

You’ll work directly with business stakeholders, translating their needs into cutting-edge software solutions that align with modern architectures and best practices. Your contributions will directly impact financial decision-making, risk management, and investment strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes for investment operations.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to design and implement software solutions.
• Ensure high-performance and scalable data solutions in line with company standards.
• Work closely with DevOps, DataOps, and Infrastructure teams to optimize workflows.
• Stay up to date with the latest data engineering trends and technologies.
• Provide technical support on a rotational basis, monitoring production environments.

Who You Are

• At least 2 years of experience in software engineering with a focus on data.
• Strong Python programming skills and experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL).
• Experience in writing and maintaining automated tests (unit, integration).
• Exposure to Big Data technologies (Airflow, Hive, NiFi) is a plus.
• Ability to integrate third-party APIs and external systems.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and excellent communication skills.
