We’re looking for a talented and passionate Senior Data Engineer to join our innovative team. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines (experience with Azure and Databricks is a strong plus).
- Serve as the technical lead for cross-department projects, collaborating with teams in trading, supply chain, risk management, finance, and more.
- Act as the go-to expert for troubleshooting and performance optimization within data workflows.
- Implement robust data governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and access controls.
- Coach and mentor junior colleagues, promoting best practices in development standards, CI/CD, and code documentation.
- Contribute to strategic decisions regarding architecture, security, and resource optimization for scalable data solutions.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar technical field, with exposure to industries like commodity or financial trading being a major advantage.
- Proficient in Python and SQL, with knowledge of big data tools such as Spark and Hadoop (nice to have).
- Experience with streaming data solutions (PySpark, Kafka) and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform).
- Familiarity with CI/CD deployment pipelines and API management.
- Experience with DBT and GenAI tools is a plus.
- Solid knowledge in data quality monitoring frameworks and data platform security.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary between €4,500 and €6,000 per month, depending on experience.
