Your responsibilities:
- Dive deep into financial data to uncover trends and insights that drive strategic decisions.
- Develop innovative solutions for internal process improvements and risk management, particularly within Solvency 2 and insurance products.
- Transform complex data into practical insights using financial instruments like derivatives and bonds.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Portfolio Management, Trading, Operations) to ensure data-driven decision-making.
- Engage directly with clients to understand their needs and deliver insightful analyses.
- Build and maintain powerful analytical tools to monitor client portfolios and risk metrics.
- Utilize modern data tools and platforms such as APIs, GitHub, and PowerBI to streamline reporting and data analysis (experience with Python is a plus, but not mandatory).
What do you bring?
- A passion for data-driven decision-making and process optimization.
- A completed degree in Finance, Econometrics, Mathematics, Physics, or a comparable field.
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the financial services sector.
- Knowledge of Solvency 2 and financial markets.
- Hands-on experience with technical tools (e.g., APIs, GitHub) to support data analysis.
- Strong analytical thinking and the ability to translate data insights into actionable strategies.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively within teams.
